We are looking for a Lead Business Development (m/f/d) working 39h/week to start immediately.

What you will do:

  • Lead and develop two team leads across market and relations development
  • Define and drive global business and market development by identifying growth opportunities, guiding go-to-market strategies, and monitoring market trends
  • Lead strategic relationships and key global accounts by managing senior partnerships, building executive-level trust, driving complex negotiations, and advancing institutional collaborations
  • Represent the organization in key forums and engage across the ecosystem to drive collaboration, strengthen partnerships, and translate stakeholder insights into strategic priorities
  • Ensure internal alignment and governance by collaborating across teams, integrating stakeholder feedback into strategy and product development, supporting executive decision-making, and upholding organizational integrity and credibility

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in the field of Business Administration, Economics, Agriculture, Sustainability or equivalent
  • Min. 10 years of experience in the field of business development, strategic partnerships or stakeholder management as well as min. 5 years of experience in managing employees
  • Proven track record of commercial interaction with primary production trade, retailers, standard developers, certification systems, or complex value chains
  • Strong negotiating, relationship-building and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and German (both C1 level)
  • Ability to travel internationally
