This is where you'll excel
- Develop novel ALD coating processes for optics and photonics applications
- Initiate and contribute to the design and specification of new coating equipment
- Demonstrate ALD machine capabilities through targeted demo coatings for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Author technical publications and present development results at conferences or symposia
- Support Sales in the market introduction of new coating products and solutions
- Plan and execute R&D projects, public funding projects, and external collaborations-from application through completion, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance
These are the skills you'll need
- PhD (or equivalent) in technical or natural Sciences, preferably in Chemistry
- Severals years of working experience in plasma enhanced ALD and CVD
- Expertise in the operation of ALD / CVD reactors
- Ideally knowledge in the design and deposition of complex interference filters
- Business fluent English, German language skills are of advantage
- An independent way of working as well as willingness to travel worldwide
